So let’s review

He was foretold by prophets.

He was born in a manger.

He impressed the leaders at age 12.

He resisted the devil’s temptations.

He turned water into wine and fed huge crowds.

He healed the lame, the deaf and brought the dead to life.

He entered Jerusalem to the praise of thousands.

He lived a perfect life.

But–He was denied, betrayed, and abandoned by his own.

He was whipped, spit upon, and beaten.

He was crucified as a criminal and died on the cross.

Still, Jesus endured all of this for you and for me. There was no other way for us to get to heaven. He was punished for our sins. His love knew no bounds.

And today HE’S ALIVE!

“As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen!” Mark 16:5-6.
