Remember to Say Thank You

Veterans Day November 12th, 2018A Day to Remember All Who Served

Some served to show their love and respect for God  Everyone must submit to the governing authorities. For no authority exists except by God, and the authorities that do exist have been established by God.    Romans 13:1 (EHV)

Some served during wars of which we approved.

Some served during wars of which there was disagreement and disapproval.

Some serve today in ways for which there is both approval and disapproval.

No matter our feelings about the reasons for the conflicts, our thoughts for those who served should be that of gratitude. They gave so much in our place.

For one moment notice the freedoms you enjoy.

For one prayer thank our Lord for those who served.

For one day take the time to seek out one veteran and say Thank you!

Steven Curtis Chapman wrote the song We Remember as he thought about his grandfather Rubel Rudd who received a Purple Heart for his service in WW II. Mr. Rudd, who fought and was wounded in the Battle of Okinawa, died in 2003.
